'Earthly Confusion' by Trish |
If I close my eyes, it will all go away,
If I open them, it will all stay. The dilemma is as old as time,
But this bewilderment is all mine.
I've spread the word to myself,
I'll never leave anything on the shelf
For dust to cover all my dreams,
It's the only way to go it seems.
I've talked to people night and day,
Sharing backfired, there was hell to pay.
I don't know what it's all about,
I do know there was much to sort out.
But the answer is definitely drawing near,
Even though, it can, then, disappear.
Inevitably I'll place my foot on the road,
Without the attributes of heritage's load.
Trish
