I SLEPT FOREVER?

'Theft'  by  Trish
How did I awake? How long have I slept?
Now I remember, an angel stole my breath.
Removing neither clothes or shoes, I lay upon my bed
Rested gratefully on the stone pillow, beneath my heavy head.

The rhythm of the world, kept  on with its dance,
No one thought I was dead, just in a deep trance.
Time rested upon  me, embalmed my flesh and mind,
I dreamed my life on my sleeping lids, I felt I was blind.

One day music, floated, filtered through my senses,
In shock I opened my eyes, around me were  the remnants,
of  mangled steel, its twisted strength, formed the word, 'disillusion'
But nature'd traced in strings, and beads of greens, the words, 'happiness in profusion'.
