I'm standing in shallow waters and it's so cold,
If I stand here long enough, could it turn to gold?
Is proving to be a useless endeavour
If I look behind, will the darkness devour me?
But nothing could be worse, than feeling so lonely?
Soon I'll turn, so slowly, I won't know I've done it;
And at what I'll see I know I'll say "Thank you God, I love it!"
