SCHMETTERLING (Butterfly)

Here is the freedom of a full heart,
"Schmetterling" by Patsy  2015
why fly far when it's here at the start.
Flying far beyond one's own wise world,
looking for the most precious  pearl.

Drink the nectar of lilac, the divine,
bow to the Sun flower, as if at a shrine.

MOONLIGHT MASK

Moonlight Mask by Patsy  2015
Slipping behind the moon, leaving defined marks,
sliding away from the sun, moving into hushed dark.
Healing the scars of time, with light minded balm,
melting shadows away, leaving no trace of harm

LOOKING INTO IT

Stretch, dip and dive off, off the solid land,
scratch, scrape, straighten, reach where you can.
Immerse yourself in royal colours of the known,
that cover and glow only, on the royal throne.

AZURE

"Azure" by Patsy  2015
Where is the blue, the colour of sky?
It's wherever we choose, you, and I.
No need to follow the well trodden path,
Simply mix all colours for a mucky mud bath.

BOARDERLINES

"Boarderlines" by Patsy
Cross boarders, break the bind,
cut the cord that was left behind.
Blend the blur of, jaded life,
draw
forth the brilliance of true light.

THE HANDLESS MAIDEN MYTH

Handless Maiden Myth by Patsy 2015
There was once a maiden, beautiful! so fair!
It was as if the God's had placed her there,

for all to admire, all to adore and love,
her praises to sing through out the universe,
like a perfumed prayer, to heaven above.

MINKA

Minka is miniscual and so very cute.
"Minka" by Patsy 2015
She does a belly dance and also plays the flute.

Flicking her scarves, quivering her shapely hips,
the scarves flare and curl, then crack like whips!

THE CALMING

Calming the storm, casting the nett,
resting within what one may get.
Sifting the jewels from where one cast,
discarding first, the historical mask.

SILENCE

Wait in silence with your hope,
"Silence" by Patsy  2015
tip of tongue, taught on teeth.

Wait in silence for your loaf,
Starve as you watch a silent thief.

SILLY DUFFER

"Pumpkin Head" by Patsy 2015
I'm such a silly duffer, quite off my head!
Sometimes I even, look under, my bed!!

Spooky shadows lurk there, or so I've heard tell.
Somebody once said, they grab your foot, as well!!

POPPY PALS

Poppy Pals by  Patsy  2015
Push your pen across the page, or tap the keys,

of a computer, or just, whatever you please.

But do keep the door open, to your heart, your love,

it does brighten my world, so give yourself a shove!!

OFF LIMITS

"Of Limits" by  Patsy  2015
Tread the sharp nails of needed consolation,
walk the soul's way of much consternation,
pass your own, varied peace, along the way,
keep a coin for your tongue on the last day.

Patsy  2015

INTOXICATION

"Intoxication" by Patsy  2015
Dive deep, then rise, fly high wise ones say.
Greet the new morn of every blessed day,
with joy and gratitude, ever full of grace,
and get that look off your, unhappy face!

MISERY

Why is misery, so hurtful, or, even harsh?
Enough to force the breath, and, body apart.
Innocent and foolish child, quaint, naive?
"Misery" by Patsy  2015
Warped from the sins of original mother-Eve?

REVELATIONS

Let's look at the shape, the form as well,
'Revelations" by Patsy  2015
the lights, dashes, scratches can really tell,
what's going on in the mind of its maker,
it will all reveal itself, sooner or later.

PEOPLE

"People" by Patsy  2015
Out into the cold land, out into the snow,
go anytime or anywhere, simply just go!

Snow flakes drift around me, chill my mouth,
while my heart beats the words, out! out! out!

BRICKS AND MORTAR

'Bricks And Mortar" by Patsy  2015
What's a home, without it's fire and, its hearth?
A cold, an empty tomb, without a beating heart.
Cow shed or stable, would mean more to a child,
than eyeless walls, now blank, now blazing and wild.

But nature waits in hiding until the time is right,
and begins to creep across the darkness into bright,
colours of the grass, and of autumn leaves' warm hue,
melting into the darkness, warming the tomb, and me, too.

SUBMERGED

Oblivion sinks into a swathe of tattered cloth,
merges with another's deep immersed wrath.
Currents keep forging, the way of clouds, winds,
till the bowed head slips into a wasteland of sins.
"Submerged" by Patsy  2015

ECLIPSE

What can take one, away, out of hallways of black?
Towards light, out and away, from the hungry lack?
What can take one into cathedrals of pure colour?
filled with the infinite, given, by a loving mother.

A SLASH

The blade of tongue, slices through,
"A Slash"  By Patsy  2015
the ground of silent sounds, wounds, all true.
So, startled, fear, the wild animal runs to hide,
mouth's silent awful scream, terror, open wide.

BLACK BLOSSOM

Black blossom on deepest bending bow,
Black Blossom by Tushie 2915
as low as the taken blow, can, or will allow.
Grey leaves that curl backwards and now wave,
on wisps of smoke from an empty, airless grave.

SPINDLY SPIDER

Spindly Spider by Tushie  2015
Spindly woody spider, crawling up the wall,
stop look and listen, before you start to fall.
On your fine silk thread, clamber back home,
quickly snap your door shut, no more to roam,
around all the rafters, in corners, or others beds,
go now woody spider! be safe, in your rusty shed.

SLIDING ALONG

It's hard to share with grown ups, they make too much talk.
SLIDING ALONG  By Tushie  2015
Another thing that bothers me, is the way they always walk,
so very far above me, heads held high in the clouds,
In winter, their coats flap around, like scary black shrouds.

I wouldn't worry about it, not nearly as much as I do,
if someone would just be my friend, how about you?
I've got an imaginary friend, that only I can see,
he says he likes me a lot, because he's a lot like me!

Tushie 2015

THE MONSTER

"Where are you now?" the sly monster says,
By Tushie  2015
I'm coming right over to chop off your head!
I'll put it in my kit bag and take it far away,
and come back for the rest, another fine day!".

VEILED ROSE

Veiled Rose  by  Tushie 2015
Once more the hurting until four in the morning,
has awakened, the memories, and the warning,
that pain my silent companion, my elusive partner,
is forever in the wings, present, and forever after.
No matter the hindsight, the wisdom of it all,
the innocent, trusting child, eternally awaits the fall.

BLACKWOOD

Blackwood By Patsy  2015
Blackwood is the midnight now, no moon too?
See how faint it is, as I look around with you?
There must be more to see, than now appears.
The light will surely shine, on all our fears.

BRISTLE BLOOMS

Stark sort of stuff, grown from slips?
Seems to need a bit, of a twirl or twist?
By Patsy  2015
Turn it towards the light, or into the shade?
Let it take its time, that's how beauty is made.

FLUTTERBYE

Flutterbye  by  Patsy  2015

As I look on, wait for the dark circles to spark,
a flutterbye hovers, and seems, about to laugh.
Why should that impression come upon me?
Perhaps each dark circle, is an angry bee?

SWAMI

Swami  by  Patsy  2015
Oh I'm so in love , I don't know what to do!
Tell me, dear Swami, do you love me too??
Does our closeness stir you, as it does me?
Oh lovely long neck, could we two ever be?

A TOUCH OF LIGHT

In the old lady's garden, blooms a secret sight,
A Touch of Light by Patsy  2015
it sleeps in the daytime, wakens at night.
Spindly spider comes to visit, talk and play.
She's most welcome at dark, but not in the day.

The old lady was young when Spindly first came,
they didn't know that danger and fun, aren't the same,
so together the two learned about give and take,
and also learned to meet, while others aren't awake.

SLIPPERY SAM

Sam was a good guy, but he often did wrong.
He didn't mean any harm, he was simply a nong.
He gambled all his money, drank it all too,
his wife had, had enough and said "To hell with you!"

She packed Sam's bags, golf clubs and all,
and left them standing in the long dark hall.
When the unsuspecting man, came home that night,
he'd lost all his money, and was  clearly very tight.

He staggered and stumbled, over all his packed gear,
even though he was drunk, it was still vaguely clear,
his wife  had, had enough,  so he said "What the heck!
I'll stand on my own two feet" then he fell and broke his neck.

MISREPRESENTATION

looks real pretty, but, everyone knows,

I AND ME

I, is no more than, well? a  jot of a word,
and, yet, without it, I can not be heard.
For me, that little jot, though so small,
has proved to be, the jolt of them all.

CRUMBS OF BREAD

I followed a trail of breadcrumbs, pick, pecked along the way.
Looked in all byway, for my love, sweet wisdom to say.
But no love did I find, not one sigh, nor a single word,
so I chose to go free flight, and became a beautiful bird.
