LUCKY ME

Aren't I lucky to be strong,
Always happy to go along,
Thank you Lord for this fine day,
And for all you've brought my way.

But there's a voice, deep within me,
That pleads each day, dear Lord let it be,
It's not that I'm ungrateful to you,
But you promised me, a life that was brand new.

Thank you for the sun and sea,
A darling wee baby on it's mother's knee,
For crisp cold days, with warm, cosy nights,
And  for lovers' smiles by evening's light.

But there's a voice, deep within me,
That pleads each day,  dear Lord let it be,
It's not that I'm ungrateful to you,
But you promised me, a life, that was brand new.

WHEN I WRITE

I can sail over maintains, soar like a bird,
Over the highest mountains, on a word.
Dream in the sunlight, or dark of the night,
Be a princess or a pauper, when, I write.

There's a voice there to guide me,
Should I stray from the light,
If I listen inside me, when I write.

Free, free, free,
I am free, free.

THE WORD

The word passed by my window,
brushed against my pain,
Said I've been this way before,
And things are still the same,
Yes, things are still the same.

Call my name on the wind,
Call my name, and I will come in,
Call my name, and I will come in.

One night as I lay sleeping,
the word came again,
Whispered softly, to me, call my name.

Call my name on the wind, ,
Call my name, and I will come in,
Call my name and I will come in.

PRAYER

There's a prayer going on in you,
I can tell by the way you are,
There's a prayer going on in you,
And it's shining like a morning star.

Don't leave me now, don't walk out the door,
I'm begging you to stay, help me try once more.
