I'm on a right royal road,
I'm so proud I just might explode!
What's got me all aglow?
I simply just don't know.

Perhaps it's all the good things,
and all the bells and ringalings,
that keep on turning up.
New  friends like Emma, the dearest, darlingest pup.

CATCHY COLOR

Catchy Color, catchy can,
with a ribbon, fast she ran,
tied around her horsy main,
a hat to protect her from the rain.

Swish swallow, off  she goes,
where she's off to, goodness knows.
I bet for sure it' s a rainbow place,
with daubs and dabs all over her face.

I do so miss, kind, kind Jess,
the dearest, the loveliest soul,
the very, very best.

I don't think she'll miss me,
well not very very much,
not enough to say 'Let's keep in touch'.

I'm a handsome little pussy cat,
you can see so for yourself!
Now, how is it I'm found, left on the shelf?

My manners are impeccable,
I never misbehave,
and due to my fur, I never need a shave.

People have often treated me cruelly,
I've known some awful folk,
but I suspect, it may all be, a great big joke?

The way some cats do swish around!
here, there, and all over the place.
I'm sure, I've sometimes seen, smirks on their face.

Well, let them go their way,
the way, they want to, or even must,
but me? I want to, I need to, go the way of trust.

As I awaken from my long dream,
the world's not as bad as it once seemed.

PUSSY CAT ABROAD

In the misty garden, when all are asleep,
pussy cat is creeping, on paws soft and sweet.
Moving oh so carefully, one step then the next,
he knows he shouldn't be out, that his master will be vexed.

But night is made for prowling, made to roam abroad,
it's the perfect time to hear, the creaking of a board,
or a wee mouse cooing, to his one true love,
while pussy cat watches,and waits up above.

Butterflies and frogs, are on my mind,
this and that, things of all kind.

I skitter and scatter, around in the park,
but I'm at my very best after dark.
