'A Ratta Tat  Child'  by  Trish
LIFE AT RATTA TAT CASTLE
--------------------------------
All was still, silent. but not for very long.
Music began! Pipes played too
Tin whistles piped a cheery song.

Out of , the dark gray castle, with a merry merrily laugh
Came the 'Ratta Tat Children'.adancing,
 free, free at last

Oh, how they danced, lept, and sang
In dresses made from greenest grass.
They tipped their heads politely, as they ran past

Beads the colors of dew drops, ruby red as well
Swished wildly back, up, then down
to the rhythm of the juggler's bell.

The Ratta Tat Children had fine, long, russet hued tales
They swished them gaily back and forth
An invitation to the eager males.

Dressed in long coats of sunlight, singing a silvery tune
The male 'Ratta Tat' children, shone brightly
as a harvest  moon.

Beads were tapped with  tiny  teaspoons, some used miniature hammers
A tinker, tinked as he entered
With a glittery greenery banner

It read, Dance 'Ratta Tat Children,'
Dance Dance, one and all.
Prepare yourselves for tonight's Grand Feast.
Twill be held in the castle's hall.
