THE KID

See me passing by?
I'm floating in the sky.
Some say I'm awkward,
perhaps I need a corset?

 Because of one boot,
(and I don't give a hoot!)
I'm slightly lopsided,
not evenly divided.
It's not my fault,
and if I were worth my salt,
I'd say whose fault it is,
but I can't, 'cause, I'm only a kid.

As I go higher, higher, and high,
colors change, and so do I?
What is this world all about?
I think I'll try to find out!

If color can change without being cross,
'somebody' must, not be boss?
If I can be me, just even once,
then 'somebody', will look like a dirty! dunce!
