IN. THE MIDDLE OF IT ALLL

See the light’s soft glow cast its warmth over all

And. watch how the shadows cast me on the wall

Swaths of black silk sooth weary torn tender limbs

As the balm of love hides me beneath white wings.

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT
-----------------------------
I saw fairies, child angels, and yes, departed ones too
My family were frightened, and wondered what to do
My arms were wide wings, I declared “I can now, fly”
They looked at me sideways, then up at the dark sky
“I’m free! free! it’s wonderful, free at long, long last!”
I cried it to the world, to anyone, all who might pass
The fun ended, when I ignored the clock, food, a bath
Families can only go so far, with this mad sort of lark
I simply had to fly away my take off was really rough
I wasn’t ready, but, I had to go they were going to lock me up!

LOST FOR WORDS

I have no words, only images, everywhere!!
They tangle around me, squeeze my breath
They are mattered in my thin unwashed hair

And, there's  lack of structure in my dull mind
a can't hear sort of melody, in the background
Which must be rewired. then I can join mankind

I need an invitation, of sorts? a kind word will do
That"s all it will take!! to bring me out of the cold
It will say, welcome home little one, welcome to you

ONCE.MORE

Yes, once more  I am not listening, nor ever will again
Yes, can you believe it, at long last, I’m in from the rain
Yes, was the first and last word,  to pass from my dry lips
Yes and even maybe no, are the language off the new lists.

IN MY PLACE

In this place, it is hot, and sometimes cold
In this place, I can be, a child, young, old
Now, finally, in this place, I, mould into it
Hard as it has been, it’s now, a perfect fit.

A HOLLOW VICTORY

The. Light was always ahead, shining in my.eyes
My breath on hold, always. ready, for the surprise
Tension in teeth and toes, limbs, cold and numb
Waiting ever and always, for the inevitable to come.

QUICK

Come and see, what I see, catch it now
Don’t think, just look, oh! oh!  it’s gone
You were too slow, never mind, don’t fret,
It will always come back, and, I’ll call to you
But, you must definitely be ready, and, quick!

AT WAR WITH WORDS

Let the words pour forth, and give birth
To my thoughts, my feelings, to my loss
Let my words, wake, war with each other
Until they rest, and make peace in my heart

DIFFICULT

This looks as if it might be difficult
But, I intend to take it on, no matter
What, the outcome may be, no matter
How,, where, she leads, I will follow her.

WHERE THERE IS NO NAME

I’m not known by a name, nor respond to one,
If some one should call to me, and I do respond
It must be a silent call, and they must hear beneath
A wild, raw destructive wind my whispered secrets
Only then, will I say ‘welcome, enter, I am waiting’.

LOVE

I’m looking over my shoulder, to see if you follow
I know that you don’t, from the feel of the hollow
In that  place held  so deep within, the aching heart
Where only the union of all blessed  love may start
I’m looking.

FLOATING

There is a sort of floating touch
It's barely there, it's not much
Just a little bit off the ground
Without even a slightest sound
Into a world, of the unknown
It reveals magic, blossom-blown

WORDS

Words, they just keep pouring out,
Fill days, and nights, fill my mouth.
With memories, soured,  acid taste
Take my energy, my time, and waste
Away, the delicate workings of mind
Words can’t do it, they can  never find
The way out, of the maze, into the light
Keep me prisoner, until, they are right.

CELEBRATE

It’s time to bring on the happy hour
Time to celebrate for all the power
Uniting with others can bring about
Come friends, it’s my turn to shout.

A BASKET OF FRUIT

In front of me is a basket full of fruit
The lusciousness of nature is mine
If a nymph could come with his flute
Then all will become, purely sublime
And if I close my eyes to dream again
Of a soul that can unite fully with mine,
Then let me be filled with a liquid  gold
And let all burn and melt in fiercest fire
Let the lusciousness and liquid absolve.

KNOCKING A WAY OUT

Knocking on a steel door, has seemed to me, pointless
It brings an ever deeper pain, inside the aching heart
Is there an echo? to me, it has always felt?  jointless.
A pumping echo, that  bends, yet never can it  give
I have heard, a wooden door can be opened with a tap
Were that the challenge, could we have had a life to live?

ABANDONED ONE

Waiting is a hard thing to do, it needs a soft heart
One that wants to wait forever, and never to part
From the one who never comes, nor even passes by
While the waiting cuts ever deeper, until a sharp cry
Pierce’s the air, of darkest night, with a word, why?

BLUEBELLS

Is there a perfume more beautiful than bluebells
If there is, like many, things, who is it that tells?
Who is there with the sensitive eye, ear and all
That can sense the differences that are so small
Even the warmest sun cannot spread its warmth
Over the secret shy beauty, that evil does haunt.

THE BLIND WOMAN

THE BLIND WOMAN

She had wandered like a blind person, for many years,
The mud, the dust, the blood, all mixed with her tears
And the higher she climbed, the blacker it all became
She pleaded, Oh God, please, please, tell me my name.

THE CHILL OF TIME

THE CHILL OF TIME

There is the slightest chill, in the night air
And my skin tingles, as I sit and do care
Over matters reported by powers that be
Of how things will come unbidden to me

How in the dead of stillest night, it comes
Catches me fast by the hair, as I try to run
In all directions, in a desperate bid for time
But my scattered wits betray, me, and mine.
